CELs

Driving my car home last weekend, it started cutting out on me on the interstate. I noticed it would only do it under a heavier load, such as going up a steep or long hill. I saw that a CEL light would come on and the second i tried to increase the throttle the motor would stumble two times in a row. I got the codes scanned, and they came up to a knock sensor and a crankshaft position sensor. The CEL light is currently off, and i havent had any problems from the car since this first happened. Should i have the shop to replace both the knock and the position sensor? Im guessing the crankshaft position sensor would be of a higher priority?

Replace in the order the codes are flashed (ie. 22 before 34 etc) then after each problem is fixed reset the ecu and check your codes again. THis may save you some precious $$.

Replace the knock sensor, clear the codes, and drive it around. If the crankshaft sensor is bad/not working, car won't run.
