i have a base model 1993 legacy im thinking about getting as a parts car for my 94 SS. Besides the obvious like engine and transmission and stuff like that. Everything is interchangable right. Like the control arms, manual cross member, drive shaft, half shafts, any mechanically parts of that nature?

Yes...that is all interchangable...

Most all of the parts will fit...but the interiors are different, etc

You have to remember that not everyone is close to a junk yard/salvage yard. Here in PA, they're a dime a dozen to stumble across. I have like 9 or 10 of them with in a 50 mile radius.

Whereas here in SC, I can't find any at all. I have seen a grand total of 1 other SS.

Subies arent exactly a hit down south... No snow and other extreme weather...

There are more RWD cars down there, no need for AWD.

Yeah, come to the snow heavy states and you'll find they're more heavily driven than most any other "car".

Ok well i did a VIN number search for the car and the search said that the car i was looking at for a parts car is a 1992 but she said the title says 1993. My question is. . .

Even if it is a 1992 will the headlight fenders and things on the body fit?

Pretty much all body parts on 92s, 93s, and 94s are the same. The only difference I can think of is that the turn signal lenses on the sedan taillights are slightly different on 92 models. The lamps are still interchangeable though.

Yeah, the '92 was the only year to have clear rear turnsignals (no amber plastic inside the housing). My buddy has 6 sets I'll be selling for him very soon.

It has an amber plastic lens; it's just set in so you don't really see it from the outside.

Really? I thought it was just an amber bulb inside, not an amber lense inside. Oh, well. I'm not always 100% right all the time.

Hehe, yep, it's the same clear bulb.

However, EDM tail lights do Not have any amber in them... So you have to put an amber bulb in.

well to bring this back from the "not so dead"

Will 5speed FWD axles work and my 5 speed SS?

Or can i just take the adapter out of the auto half shafts to use them as 5 speed shafts?

Yes... they are thicker so they are better to use.
