any you guys cleaned your intake manifolds before, if so what did you use and how did you do it. I was thinking seafoam deep clean but did know where to shoot it in, or if i should let that run through the turbo, thanks

Are you talking about the inside or outside of the manifold?

I'm guessing you mean the inside. Typically I use one of the vacume lines going to the throttle body to draw in the seafoam. Half a can and then wait five minutes. Then go for a drive and fog up the neighboorhood .

WHOA... Is that bad on your engine?

I hear lots of good things about Seafoam, but mostly from the detriot iron guys. I really don't see where it can be bad, the smoke it makes is just the seafoam burning away, I'm sure the exhaust is used to seeing it's fair share of smoke from various sources (ingested coolant, oil, unburned fuel, etc).

I personally prefer to take apart the intake and clean it by hand, but that takes a while....

If you search the intake and engine forum for 'seafoam', you'll find a lot of people here routinely use it.

Normally I just give my car an italian tune-up... About ever 2-3 months... And believe it or not... when done right, it does help.

i was having problems with hesitation and low power on my old car so I figured "what the hell" and did that, and it made it a lot better!

Sorry if I came off a little too sarcastic, no offense was meant.

The italian tune ups do help, been there and done that . The seafoam will generally make a noticable difference on high milage engines though.

It also works great as an injector cleaner.

And the fun factor of filling a neighboorhood with a thick white cloud is worth it alone .

I use this stuff at work made by Wynn's. Use the entire can in a manifold. Hop in start it up while "oops" forgetting to attach my exhasut hose... give her a good WOT and watch the white cloud overtake the asshole in the bay across from me!!! If you met him you would do it too....

No I would not recommend that. Compressors are not designed to run liquids through them. You could damage the compressor by doing that.

Additionally, there would be no need to clean the compressor. The compressor should be pretty clean to begin with, at most a slight oil residue from the PCV system, but no hard deposits. The turbine will get a little bit of cleaning action from the seafoam coming out the exhaust and that should take care of it.
