OK so I moved the new cd player down to where the pocket used
to be, and it left a 3" by 7" 1/8" gap demanding some gauges
I didn't want to buy any thing so....
I had a piece of 1.5" by 3.5" stud laying around so i driiled
2" 1/8" holes in it 3 times. Cut it to lenght 7". Cut it narrower to 3".
and bevelled the bottom edge that will flush up to the cd player.
And wrapped it in Black felt.
Took about an hour really
After that I had something I could screw to the rig that holds the cd
player etc.
ITs solid and u can just pull the gauges out if you want
Their fit is adjustable if you wrap tape around the gauge before you stick it in. to get the right amount f friction... its sweet, the thickness of the wood holds the gauges amazing with no real fasteners..you can just pull them out!!!!!
also the wood is quiet and wont make noises
javascript:emoticon('')
Shocked
Or you can buy something
The only thing Im leaving out is pictures,,, never done it, Ill give it a shot!
