Not a victory yet, but it runs

Post by skid542 »

Well tonight I finally got all the ends tied up and drove her around the block a few times. It is still throwing a knock sensor error and seems a litle sluggish. It's also still getting slight warm, bounce between 170* - 190*. I'm assuming it's just a few air bubbles still in the system. My fans haven't been turning on either though? I'll double check the connections tomorrow.

Idle is good, both at cold start up and when fully warm. It hits full boost fine and I haven't had any missing/stumbling.

So it's not a victory yet but it's close. You can hear the intercooler a lot and the 3" TBE sounds pretty nice :).

And the new scan tool from Vikash is absolutely awesome. Makes diagnosing super easy. The interface is simple and effective. Having the real time readings is very reassuring. I don't think you can truly understand how cool it is until you see it. Thank you Vikash.

I'll have pics and sound by mid-next week.
