My buddy picked up a bunch of motors locally when a local Subaru dealer changed hands & the new owner didn't want all the extra stuff laying around. He moved & needed it all out of his garage now. So I volunteered to sell everything for him.

				Just an FYI, I have never seen a USDM WRX shortblock sell for more than $300. Those things are given away. Like the Ej25, all the money is in the heads...

				I was just going by what the owner of the parts wanted money wise.
Prices have been adjusted accordingly (lowered).

				That longblock sounds nice...
newb question, can I throw anything that isn't on there from my NA EJ22 on?
I might be "in the market", per se, for a small power upgrade...

				Yes, you can install EJ25D heads on an EJ22E block. Compression ratio will change a bit & you will have higher flow heads. You also need the matching intake manifold (which I may have a spare to sell, I will have to double check on that) to work with the heads since the 2.2 & 2.5 manifolds are not the same. Also, the exhaust ports are dual port vs. the single that most (not all) 2.2 motors are equiped with.

I was actually talking about throwing all the accessories from my EJ22 on the EJ25 longblock, ^^;;;

				You'd have a stronger setup if you utilize the 2.2 block & the 2.5 heads. 2.5 motors were/are more prone to over heating and taking out head gaskets. On the other hand, I just regasketed my motor with the SOA dealer head gaskets & it's been just fine.
