How are these flywheels does any one know?
I can resurface my existing flywheel for $50 or buy this one for $65
Did anyone have a bad experience with these?

I don't understand how it can fit both turbo and non-turbo models. I thought fitment was different.

Yeah that's a little fishy. You should e-mail the seller and ask him. Maybe you have to give the details of your car after you buy it so he can give you the right one...?

I know that clutch discs are the same from 90-99. Pressure plates differ for the turbo's and from my house I can't verify the flywheel. The similar clutch disk makes me think that the flywheel is the same. The pressure plate is what grabs the clutch harder anyway.

Arctic
I just looked at a diff site and even a diff manufacture has the same wheel for all models
So you are right!!

I think I'm going to get it. The car has 248K on it so even if I get 50K out of the flywheel I'll be happy.
Thanx to everyone on this board I'm working on changing the clutch on my own!
Will post the results with a log

I thought the flywheels were different turbo to NA.
I used a ACT flywheel on my OBS-T with a NA tranny & sort of remember a different part# for turbo tranny FWs, but I am getting old & ordered the FW in '03.
Good info any way you cut it!
The clutch disks do look the same turbo vs. NA.

No, the flywheels are NOT the same, at least P/N wise....and I have my doubts they're the same physically. I need to check something when I get home....
The original P/N for the n/a flywheel is 12310AA090, it has superceeded to 12310AA092
The original P/N for the turbo flywheel is 12310AA080, it has superceeded to 12310AA113

Also....it doesn't list one for any other turbo subaru except the 05-06 Legacy, which I believe switched back to the push style clutch setup.

Josh, you're correct. The turbo flywheel stands alone. There are 2 new left in the nation!!!
The na flywheel does have another supercession, but its due to Parts bulletin# PT250305. 12310AA092 ----------- 12310AA300.
