Just received my RIK ($49) kit from Daniel Stern....excellent product and reasonable price....looking forward to correct voltage at the bulbs!!!! I will be able to see again!!!!
Also FYI....Daniel has a plug and play version as well for $139.00 if you don't want the hassle with wiring.....

Oh, I thought we were talking about headlight upgrades (bulbs and relays) not adding driving lights...Congrat tho. Let's see how they look when you get them on...

In general what are upgraded relays intended to do - add more power to the lamps? Enable running a brighter bulb?

Yeah....I installed the relays when I did my EDM headlights, and have been very happy with the results.

I have high hopes for the EDMs' but don't have them yet are they H4s? I notice that DS offers H4 converstions from 9007...
H4 vs. others bulb sizes...advantages???
I think my 99 Legacy GT is 9007...

The European-market lights for our cars use H4 bulbs, yes.
Those aren't kits to replace 9007 bulbs with H4 bulbs; they're wiring kits to help you when you replace 9007 headlights with H4 headlights. Never replace a 9007 bulb with any other kind of bulb!

Ah, yes, I noticed right after posting that they weren't conversion kits they were replacement kits...
I may order a set today...
