New muffler installed today, rattle under the hood? *PICS*

Just got a new muffler (wicked flow 1 into 2 out) on my 93 legacy n/a .. but now there is a harsh rattling somewhere at the beginning of the exhaust system when i let off the gas. Kinda sounds like an exhaust leak but with the stock muffler there was no problems. I was thinking it might be because the piping rumbles a lot more and one of the heat shields is rattling but im not sure. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Heat shields rattle like heck - you can go down there with bailing wire and secure. Mine clanks when I close the drivers side door...

Same here. With exhaust changes, you always find the loose stuff.

With the new muffler is almost scary loud. Sounds like a tractor. I Didnt realize how much the stock muffler cut down the exhaust note... Might be putting it back on in a day or two

Don't throw the baby out with the bath here...Get a resonator added, cheap easy fix.

Thats what the guy at the muffler shop suggested. Ill take some photos of the new muff ... he did a great job installing it, looks sweet too, but she really makes a lot of "CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG". So hopefully a resonator will fix that!
