I was driving home, went to roll down the window and CLICK..nothing...all other windowns operate fine. I pulled the door panel off, took off the switch control thing, took it apart and cleaned the connections..reconected the switch and still nothing, I can hear the regulator click once everytime i hit the button, but the window wont move.
Could this be anything besides the window regulator?
Thanks

im not sure, what is the difference between the motor and the regulator? Don't they come together?? How would I know which one was bad?

hmmm... i'm going to watch this topic.
my passenger side front window won't go up, unless it goes all the way down as far as it can.
so for example, if i roll the window down half way, it wont go up again until i roll it down all the way.
bad connections maybe?

Find the connector going to the motor, and apply 12v to it. There is probably 3 wires, so one will be a common ground, and the other two will determine whether the motor goes up or down.
See if it works like that, if so, it should help narrow down whether it's the switch/wiring, or motor.
Also look and make sure there's nothing lodged in the gears/mechanism of the window regulator.

thanks guys but i actually scored the goods off a 93 leg at a local salvage yard. Got the regulator, motor, AND the window switch all for $60! Score!! Turns out the problem was either the motor or the regulator, cuz i tried both switches (new one and my old one) and they both worked fine. When i get some time i'll test the motor and the regulator to see which was the culprit.
Got the new(used) parts in tonight though, adjusting the window and getting the new unit in was a pain in the @ss though, all is good though and window works now..woot!
