has anyone ever seen a subaru or even heard of a subaru with true dual exhaust? Im kinda thinking it would be a cool idea with the plans I have. I'm looking to do a twin supercharged 2.2 closed deck so I'm thinking that a dual exhaust might make it a bit more efficient.

any ideas?

You only really have room for a muffler on one side unless you want to lose ground clearance or fit two compact mufflers together on one side.

i dont even think there will be any mufflers on it. of course i dont know yet, so anything could still happen.

wouldnt you loose the rumble without it going into one?

but yeah, if you have taken a gander under your car and realy looked to were the exhaust all runs, there is not very much space for anything but a larger single exhaust

I once had a gl wagon that was ghetto'd into 4x4 status (4" lift 14' all season tires, brush guards, KC lights everywhere)

When I got it it had duel exhausts. twin glass packs on both sides. one before the rear axle one after. Had a pretty mellow sound that REALY woke up under WoT.

But this was a 1600cc boxer. No clue how it would preform on a duel turbo rig.

Would probably be about the same. A couple friends had a single glass pack set up on each exhaust of their muscle cars. The big block Chevelle sounded nice and mellow cruising, but set off car alarms under WOT. Same with the small block T/A and Novas.
