just wondering if anyone would want to trade a turbo wagon for my forest green 97 corolla ce 5sp with 100k. clean car, clean title. it gets 38mpg, drives great, and the only thing i could see it needing in the future would be some tires (the ones on the car should be good till next winter). i know it might be a long shot since its not sporty car at all, but its a good car. blue book on the car is around $4k considering the condition, and ive done a complete tune up.
i would prefer a stockish wagon in good condition. simple power upgrades and suspension mods are even better. i miss my t-leg, and the corolla is great on gas, but it seems that the only cars that will do it for me have a turbo. the alltrac is finally up and driving, but if i can get a wagon, it might fulfil the turbo need so i can sell the alltrac without too much regret

well, its up for sale locally, so if it sells, i'll be in the market. i figured id post up anyways since its newer and in good condition. who knows.
the way i figure it, a good condition t-leg with under 150k, a good drivetrain/engine, good suspension, good maintainance, and a decent body is worth around $3k-3.5k, a little more depending work done.
plus t-legs are the only turbo subaru i can stand, and realistically afford at this time since im a cash buyer

lol. i was actually trying to pick up that 94 wagon from NH that shtbxr22 just got, but things didn't work out on my end as fast, and he got to it first

i sold it kinda on a whim since the tranny was causing some concern and it was turning into a second project car. kinda wish i kept it now, but i defiantly don't mind the gas milage of the corolla.

lol... notice that there is also a $1500 silver 92 sport sedan in seattle? Im thinking about buying it and swapping everything good out of my current whitey into it then sell the white car... dont care for the white color... and i would rather put as much effort into a nicer car... my white one has been kinda beat, but I've got most kinks worked out.

There's a 93 TW that's for sale outside of this Classy Chassis in Lakewood (Tacoma, WA area). It's been sitting there for a few months because it's parked in the back, BUT it does have a For Sale sign on it. I'll check it out for ya.

If you weren't in CO, I'd actually give this more than a passing thought. My budget has been squeezed pretty tight, and a newer Corolla straight-up for my gas-drinking, headache-to-service, needs-something-every-freaking-month, Touring Wagon sounds tempting.

Well, if either of you wanted to do some traveling to perform the exchange, Cleveland's along the path between Denver and Lancaster, and you'd be welcome to spend a night at my place.

no, i didn't. i searched thought craigslist. i guess i missed that since they didn't actually say legacy, lol...
that might be a winner. i'll call him tomorrow. if everything else checks out, i could do the struts myself for a couple hundred. i wonder what he means by a brake service? probably needs new pads and milled rotors, which is about $100 if the rotors can be turned still.
klin7757 - are you on awdpirates.net? i don't think ive seen your username on there before....

are you planning on going to the redrocks meet this coming weekend. if im there, i'll probably just ride with a friend, so neither of my car's will be there, but it should be fun. there were only 3 t-legs at the last one i went to, one of which was mine.
