ive been driving around for two days now with my AVO down pipe on. only problem is..... it wont hook up to the rest of my exhaust.... so ya, its really f***in loud.
so i need to come up with the rest of the exhaust quick cause im not going to put that damn stock exhaust back on.
right now im thinking on a cheap ebay cat back or invidia N1 with the resonator.
money itsn't too big a problem.

Those Fleabay jobs aren't half bad from what I've seen

Yeah, an Ebay catback is a really good, cost effective setup. The quality isn't that bad. Or look for a used cat-back on NASIOC or craigslist.

+1 on Ebay exhaust.
Nice welds (the one I saw looked to be TIG welded with stainless rods), 3-series stainless steel tubing, mandrel bends + they are super cheap.

Been rocking the ebay exhaust for a year and a half. Aside from a tad bit of surface rust on the tip after the winter, its been flawless. The surface rust comes off in two seconds with some chrome cleaner.
Its hard to argue with $325 shipped (what I paid) for a decent quality. Its not as nice as a name brand setup, but imho, who cares. Exhaust carries nasty gases and get dirty. Just add a little to the midpipe or axle back and you're good to go, like taco bell.

Yeah I've had an E-bay downpipe for about 6 months and it shows no signs of rust or falling apart in any way.
I say go for it.

Darn! Anyway you could video tape how loud the car is and post on line? I may have a similar situation and would like to know what it's like...
Thanks in advance,
AW

ive got my exhaust on now. but i can tell you it sounded like a helicopter.
really really really loud. its not the best of idea's unless you have the rest or the exhaust waiting to be fitted.
but who am i kidding, fuck it!
thats the only reason i did it.

Looking good Andrew! Very tidy exhaust job! With a drop, and some good rubber, she is going to look mint!

Watch your bumper cover, the pics make it appear as though the muffler is touching it.
