What do you want? There's a toatlly different parts list needed for the 6mt.
6mt:
6mt tranny mount
Auto driveshaft (or just prop shaft)
stub axles and seals: Axle stubs - 38415AA110 and circlips 805329010 (can't find the seal part #)
6mt shift linkage and knob
6mt clutch and flywheel
WRX or STi slave cyl(maybe, my car was a cable to start with so I'm not sure)
3.90 rear diff, unless you already have one. The '07 6mt uses the 3.545 rear diff
A diff controller is a good idea. It sucks running w/out a controller in the winter
hmmmmmm, I think thats it.

I believe John and Jake both said they needed one for their setups.

Well the 6mt is definately not your cheapest option. It will be your most reliable option in the long haul though.

You'd have a hard time swapping WRX drivetrain for under $1k (assuming you'll do all the work yourself). Not sure if you looked at prices yet, but just so you know what you're getting into.

The 6MT transmission alone would probably cost more than 1k. The wiring to put it in is a big pain in the side as well. Might as well just go with the WRX 5MT. They're cheap and easy.

The wiring is only a pain if you have to use any of that crap. The speedo sensor is easy. What else is there, the O2 sensor wiring? I don't know because I didn't use any of that crap. Zeitronix ftw...
I'd say the rough going rate for a decent 6mt is around $3k, and what you pay for the necessary parts can vary a lot by who you know.
