ok so just to start things off, i talked to my local Stealership about how i could get ahold of some sideskirts for our model of legacy.

i did some talking and came up with a deal.

$350 for both sides of either car (wagonofDoom/SS) that you have (im assuming 92-94 b/c im not sure if the side skirts are the same or if they fit.

i have to come up with 10 for sure people that will do this in order for it to work.

:D anybody that's a-go let me know

and if we were able to get a shipment it would be in mid may

Edit: Dont post in here unless you have a legitimate question or are interested or want to be made fun of.
I went out of my way to get a deal on these for the board.

I am not sure, but most people would put $350 beyond what they want to pay.

Yeah...maybe remove the zero from that equation...

$35...sure...I'm in!

edit: Note that I said remove the zero, not minus zero, as in make $350 into $35...

Whoa whoa whao guys...

Zach was tryin to do a favor. So before we get teh thread locked by the great thread locker... Lets think about this...

Mmkay

So... If, Brian, you were to try and get a set from the almight Japan your gonna at least pay like $500 bucks after shipping, mainly because, well, theyre a bitch to ship.

Now as some of you know, the 94 Legacy GT wagon came with "Aero ground effects"

Which translates to JDM Sideskirts on an OEM Car.

So IMO, $350 is a resonable price. So if your not going to be constructive... dont post.

He was just trying to help

And assuming we get 8 more peeps to join. I'm in.

Here's where your wrong.

I wouldn't buy a set from Japan either.

I know it was an offer. But thats just rediculous. These are made of plastic, not gold.

Wow, can the haters STFU!!!???

I'm interested. $350 for a set for a SS sedan? Where are you getting these - they are brand new???

I'm in provided that shipping to Seattle doesn't double it. Also, they should include the clips...

I'm skeptical you can still get these but believe because I want despirately to believe...<grin>

Cheers,

AW

Yes, it is a good deal. Remember at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie - the gigantic military warehouse where they filed the Ark of the Covenant? The side skirts are there...

Thanks in advance to the brave soul that sources them. <grin>

I think what dscooby was saying is that 350 is a lot for the reasonable early 90's legacy owner to spend for an appearance-only part. I, at least, know that if I had that to blow on my car, I'd make it go faster. Or turn better, or stop faster...etc.

Right?

Yes, well said from a guy that spend $350 on his headlights - oops that's me too!! <grin>

OK. Let me re-clarify.
I don't see it costing $550 to source a set from Japan.

I also don't see the average SS owner spending that much. ( As I see what people buy and for how much here.)

For a brand new part from Japan: $350 for the set is an OK price.

I am STILL willing to give my set up to make a mold for either Plastic or Fiberglass. AND I have a set of WAGON rears to go with it if enough people want those also.
( Please don't ask me to sell the set. )

I came across this and thought I would throw it out there. Versus motorsports is a chargespeed dealer and they have a type 1 and 2 airdam shown along with sideskirts and rear bumper skirts. I think the latter 2 are for the wagons. Prices range from #365 for the airdams to $420 for the sideskirts. I don't remember what the bumper ones were. I would think they would do a group buy for the right quantity. I have their telephone number which is

310-885-5788

I don't remember how I came across this info, but I do remember they had pictures of the stuff on their website which I don't have the address of.

Hope this might be of some help.
