There wasent mention of the year but based on the OPs signature im guessing that those parts are for a 99 OBS.

Do the same part numbers work for a 94L? I need to replace the filler neck and the gasket.

Yes, those part #'s work for the first gen legacy.

BTW, if you order the oil filler neck it comes with the gasket.

Yeah, generally the o-ring at the filler neck leaks.... replace it and use some silicone and it's good to go.

If your filler neck cracked due to someone tightening the bolts too much, then replace the filler neck. I have a spare filler neck I think from the 90-94.... will sell cheap

During my valve cover gasket replacement, I tore the gasket that sandwiches between the oil filler neck and the valve cover. Where the neck bolts to the valve cover. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this. What did you guys replace it with? It seems like a very specific part that I can't just buy at NAPA.

I would suggest getting a new o-ring from Subaru. You can buy it online or from your local dealer.

The part number is 806923060

I found an o-ring from NAPA that fit great:

Regarding the gasket that sandwiches where the neck bolts to the valve cover, I just used RTV silicone gasket maker. A previous post by cj91legss mentioned "Permatex" and that got me thinking that was the solution. So far, it seems to be holding fine.
