do you guys think that STI 565cc injectors with a walbro and pp6 will be adequate fuel and control to safely run a 16g turbo at around say 18-20 psi? iread that the stock ecu max's its fuel injector control at 444cc. thats why people run 440's?
i have a front mount and exhaust already done to the car.

For sure. Jake (Jake15) has a TD05 16G running around 18 psi I think and he just has the 440cc injectors and stock ECU. He says it runs a little rich if anything.

Not if you are running a PP6. I've heard that you can run the 440's in your car with no fuel control whatsoever and you'll be fine when you are in the boost but out of boost it will run a tad rich.
With the PP6 you can adjust your fuel trim and whatnot, so you should be good to go, providing those injectors fit into your fuel rails.

Shewwt. thank you guys for the help very much appreciated. this is great news!
i have a set of n/a fuel rails with the 565's in them waiting to be installed. now i just have to wait for my turbo and to buy a walbro fuel pump.
i hear that these turbo's with a stock motor with supporting mod's make alot of torque.

I have a T3/T4 setup with external dump that runs 18 psi. With the Turbo maf it runs rich at full boost but with the JECs maf it runs perfect. This is with the stock injectors too. I have a set of 550's but sold my fuel computer a couple years ago and the car runs fine for me with the stock injectors so i don't worry about it.

so me and Spencer went down to the junk yard to get the rest of the parts i need for some things. plus a set of fuel rails. i had a set of n/a 2.5l rails but they wont work because the left rail has a tapped and threaded end. so i picked up a set of n/a rails out of a 91 leg sedan.
well went i try'd getting them in the rails were the rong kind.
so if you want to use 550's or 565's get them out of a N/A 91 OR 90 LEGACY WAGON WITH AN AUTOMATIC. UGH!!!
wish i would of known that. Dale at Subie Solutions helped me out and set me up with the right rails. THANK YOU!!!
