I want to do a compression test but need to crank the engine without fludding it. Do you know how to shut off the fuel pump (fuse,switch,etc.)?

I would unplug the fuel injectors connectors and unplug the coil pack for safety as well. All in all it should be only 5 connectors. I'm not sure if there is a fuse for the fuel pump, but if there is it will most likely be located under the driverside dash, located on the left, near the hood latch.

It should me covered by a plastic cover that has carpeting on it, it just pops out.

1st time i did it with the injectors running, the last time i did it i unplugged the injectors

i dont think it really hurts anything you are smoking, welding or using a match for light during the testing
