I received my scan tool today and it works great. If you have an older subaru and you need a professionally built scan tool for under 300au, then point your browser to
this australian solution.

only if there was a way to view the fuel in a digital format i would jump all over this thing. i hate guessing with our notoriously bad fuel gauges. mine shows about 5 gallons left on e lol.. ive seen my light only when testing the line !!!

That looks like a pretty neat scan tool!

the refresh rate on this scanner is very fast compared to the PC solution.
As far as fuel guage, all I do is hit the trip reset after full fillups, and count up 480KM then refill again.
My fuel sensor is due for r/r

I've now been able to see the knock, O2, digital temperature, maf.
I've noticed my O2 readouts are bouncing. My car has rough idle and hesitation. How would I track down the source?
Also I noticed that my timing advance is only 20degrees. This could be bad for fuel efficiency.

O2 readout should be bouncing between 0 and 1 volt.
When you're reading the timing advance, is the 20 deg during normal cruise, acceleration, decel, idle, etc??
