can somebody take this pic of my car and make my wheels gold or black, or... pink ha ha not pink.

i want to paint my wheels, but i want to see what will look good on ABM first.

here im not sure how to do black, but heres the other, one with painted lug nuts, one with non, hard to see diff but its there.

uh.. maybe i shouldn't do gold.?

any recommendations?

I personally think this is closer to the gold you'll want to try. Still looks a tad too orange, though. Gold is a tough color to photoshop from aluminum:

Grey:


Give me the heads up and I'll change the lugs.

Personally, I like a dark grey/gunmetal. Black really only looks good with shiny, super low profile tires, in my opinion.

I think the gold looks okay. It looks just a tad out of place on the stock turbo wheels. I prefer gold on wheels with thinner spokes, but I think it'd work with the stockers.

If it were my car, I'd run gunmetal (like the color on the wheel you posted).

Alright. Here's the gunmetal again:

That's about as dark as I'd go with the gunmetal. If you go too much darker than the tire, it starts to look dumb. So a couple of shades darker than the tire is where I'd stop.

I've got around 10 years of on/off experience under my belt. But I haven't actually done a ton of photochopping. Took me a few minutes to get the hang of making that stock color into other things, but it's cake now.

I might have to drop a thread with some of my work into the Ashtray.
