alright, plans have yet again changed for my build. wisecos may be out the window for the time being due to my finances. my question is:

Who makes a piston for the standard bore?

would just getting my pistons coated be good for around 260 whp?

I really just need to get the car back on the road, I know there will be talk of "do it right the first time" but im really not going for 500whp I just want to run a vf39 and have a pretty stout dd/sleeper.

what do you guys reccommend for a piston setup aside from a wiseco or one non standard bore?

I'm running a vf39 at 20 psi and having no piston issues...

All in the tune baby. I made over 300 whp on the stock ej22t pistons.

BUT.....

I did eat one due to bad tune....

HMM well I will be running a Dtec for a while until I have enough for a link.
anyone else running a dtec?

I think im sticking with stock pistons then.....

any info about getting them coated?
