anyone know the stock hp for a 91 SS, the one thing i have says

160Kw at 5,600rpm ------- which is 214hp at 5,600

181 Ft-lbs at 2,800

maybe i am completely misguided here, but that doesnt sound right to me
i though for the 1st gen SS it was 160hp/tq

I remmeber it being 181 ft-lbs torque and 160hp. I thought someone dyno'ed the car stock and it makes over 160hp at the wheels :S

+1 stock rating is 160HP/181TQ.

Oh and I recall it making full power at like 3,000rpms which is awesome.

It makes peak torque at 2800 rpm I believe and peak hp at like 5400.

I'd call BS on that one..... that works out to 190ish at the crank (unless I suck at math more than I think I do), and isn't that getting awfully close to early EJ20G territory?

I dyno'd mine with relatively no mods, no I/C. LW flywheel, pullies, & a DIS-2 are about the only engine specific mods....and I was at 153.2 hp.

Josh, I assume the above dyno run was after the conversion to AWD as you did that the same time at the turbo swap?

Yes the above dyno is after the AWD & 5spd conversion, & turbo motor swap.

Here's a dyno sheet from right after the AWD & 5spd conversion. You really can't compare the numbers due to the different dyno types.
