my 92 legacy ls ran perfectly.

had a flat tire from a huge chunk of metal and rattling from the exhaust system but not bad for over 5000 miles in such a short time.

car turned over 150,000 while on this trip.

did i mention it has sat in the garage for over 2 years and that i only drove it around for 1 day then went on this trip?

i had the rear window out to repair leaking and it no longer leaks.

thanks josh for the pics from your manual of the window replacement.

i love my subaru.

i had stuff in storage and they sold the land so i had to move the stuff.

the storage place was in san diego and was real cheap but i had to go through everything before i moved it to l.a.

i am in ohio taking care of my mother who has dementia but i lived in l.a. for over 25 years and plan to return.

the legacy got 30 mpg which was better than any of my other vehicles.

What was your average speed to get 30? I assume you overinflated the tires and set the cruise for 72?

Do you plan to move your mom to LA? Would you consider the Bay Area instead? BTW I grew up in Fontana until I moved to Colorado.

i went the posted speed limit and had the cruise control on whenever possible.

tires were at 30 psi.

my mother lived in lakewood most of her life and she will probably die here.

Welcome to Ohio, we're round on the ends and high in the middle.
