I just checked my tranny today to see if it was low and it was brownish with the smell of ATF and gear oil. Then i check the front diff and it was reddish. Anyone ever had this problem? Is it worth fixing or should i just swap a 5spd? The car is a 93 ss auto with 175k and still runs strong.

One of the seals between the front diff, oil pump and trans is blown.

To fix it, you need to drop the trans, and remove the rear tail and front diff.
