Now children...have we all learned why we don't get married?

In all seriousness...I'm so sorry to hear about your circumstances!!! Your decision to sell up everything is VERY smart. I commend you. Once the dust settles, you will have another Touring Wagon (or maybe 5?)

i trust you guys to give serious offers. yes it is the coolest car that i have gotten to date. the wagon i have had for like a month or two. only put 2k on her. yes do not get married. unless she is rich, and not bringing any baggage. i need money by the end of this week. even though she left me and went to north carolina ON MOTHERS DAY!!!!! I am here with our kid raising him just fine, and she starts talking shit like taking me for everything i have. f--- that!!!!! help me out guys. once the dust settles, I will be back in the game damnit!!! next time around I will not be f-ing around with minor mods. after my son is taken care of financially, emotionally etc. my soul is going into this car. my wife thinks I am obsessed with cars now, she better hold onto her f-ing socks!!!!!

shtbxr22: May I suggest a summary dissolution? It's far less stressful and you save money and time in the long run.

I speak from experience :(

I've also seen the trick of transfering titles of the vehicles into other people's names so you don't "own" them anymore... When the dust settles, transfer them back!!!

Carefull, some states/jurisdictions watch assets from the time of dissolution.

Judging from the number of SSs/TWs in our own Parts Shed that are not selling, the cars are probably not a great part of the assets.

Good luck man.Hope it all works out to your satisfaction.

ok and i know in montana, if your car is not worth more than 7K than it cannot be used in a settlement, or as leverage tword a debt.
it cannot be taken from you, b/c then what would you do? walk to work? lol that'll be the day

hapefully your state has a "homestead act" or something similar to protect a certain amount of YOUR assets from seizure in a case.

i'm not trying to get rid of it as an asset, but as a way to afford the lawyer that will destroy her, and pay off the loan I have on the wagon.

Shit! Sorry to hear that, man. His wagon's nice, guys. I'd be tempted did I not have my own dead one already. Must be divorce season - my ex and my sister's friend are both going through it now.

Hold on, it will be a ruff ride when a child is involved. I wish you the best and the only advice I have for you is to stay COOL!! Ignore her threats and use the fact that she left you with the child. Thus making her an unsutable mother.

Anyway, I was wondering what you needed for the wagon and maby you could post more info such as miles, photo, etc.

thank and good luck!
