McIntosh Stereo and Amplifier

I purchased this off the list last year, it's from an Outback...
I thought it was a good idea, but it just looks completely out of place in my car. I'm just going to stick with the WRX unit I have now.
The plugs are standard Subaru stereo plugs. Has interconnect cable and pigtail. Powers up, loads discs, tunes, all functions are OK.

Asking $200 + shipping.

I think I was trying to buy this before you got it.

If my car had the stock plugs in it for the speakers, I'd go for it, but the previous owner messed with everything.

Those radios are high quality & very hard to find. Anyone who has ever been an car audiophile will tell you that Mac is a high end company. Well worth the $200 he is asking!

Thanks for the plug, Jason!

Sale pending.

Anyone have the wiring diagrams for this unit? I didn't get into it too deep, there's two Subaru stereo plugs, one on the head unit, one on the amp, and an interface cable, which is present.

From the looks of it, the interface cable is the old stand by DIN cable that has been used for data transfer for many years. PPI, Kenwood, Alpine, along with McIntosh used these quite often.

Congrats on the sale pending. Should look good & sound good as well.

OK, sale no longer pending...

Unless you have a vehicle that's wired for this setup, you'll need to do some wiring... not plug'n'play for early cars.
