I'm working on some calculations and I'm wondering what the distance from BDC to TDC would be on a stroker ej22t/ej25d hybrid would be...
According to Wiseco the stroke is 79... Um, yeah, that makes no sense.... the piston travels 7.9cm... YEAH Right...
So yeah, could someone help me out on this??
thanks

No...Wiseco means 79mm stroke...which refers to the distance between the throws on the crank.

79 mm = 7.9 cm = 3.11 inches
25.4mm per inch

I'm working on calculating the displacement with different bores and that crank and rods....
so .040 over bore w/ that setup is a 2.4L, while a 2.35L would be 9.75cm bore
9.8cm bore, and 7.9cm stroke
so if volume=(Pi)(r^2)(h)
2.4L
then vol of 1 cylinder = 3.14159(4.9^2)7.9 = 595.8941529
so for a 4 banger thats... 595.8941529 x 4 = 2383.5
So with the over bore its a 2.38L round up and ya gotta a 2.4L Closed Deck w/ oil squirters.
2.35L
(Pi)((9.75/2)^2)7.9 = 589.829112 x 4 = 2359.3
So yeah, thats the 2.35L
So I'm just doing math crap.
