window switch removal trick?

I'm trying to swap out my 94 master switch for a 93 master switch.
I just can't get the old one out.
there are some screws that are accessed from under the armrest, that I can't manage to get at with any of my screwdrivers.
any tips?

There are some push on spring clips IIRC. You have to remove the door panel to get it off.

yeah, you can remove the door panel, and then remove the little insert that the switches are attached to. I got really infuriated trying to re-attach my switch and then realized all I had to do was remove a couple of clips and it would have been simple.

oh well, I guess my project of the day is pulling my door panel

I'm at 12 months on doing a fuel pressure test on another project car.
