i have a hole in my flex pipe on the up pipe on my 1992 ss.. my 3" tbe sounds great but i can hear that quiefing sound coming from the uppipe.. and i hate it.. the question:

what size is the flexpipe if anybody knows?

is there any other subaru pipe (i.e; wrx, sti, leggy) that will bolt up as apposed to cutting and welding a new one in.. thanks guys

I've read other post were they say the STi up-pipe is the same a the legacy SS. Also, ebay has some cheap wrx after market up-pipes. Plus, craiglist (in Denver at least) has folks selling wrx take off parts all the time.

I think the easiest thing to do would be to bolt in another uppipe for a Subaru.
As stated above the STi U/P is the same as the LSS's U/P.
Any single scroll OEM Subaru U/P will bolt in, but some models have a cat in the U/P.
