Twitter Anyone?

A friend of mine just introduced me to Twitter. Brilliant concept. I can now SMS the friends I made while overseas using standard texting rates.
If only it did picture messages too.
Anyone else looked into it yet?

I'd recommend Plurk if you want a "better" Twitter, but it does lack SMS and IM support right now.
I've used Twitter for almost a year now. Handy for keeping in touch with friends, especially if you want to reach out to people for events and don't want to SMS everyone.

I got started using Twitter from Major Nelson.
