Need to buy Wheel Bearing + Knuckle + Hub

So my right rear wheel bearing is going out (it's getting really loud, the drone kind of hurts your ears above 60 mph). I need to get that replaced for sure. Also when I got my car aligned last summer after doing my suspension job, the guy who aligned my car told me my right rear knuckle was bent so it's running more camber (-2.0 on the right vs. -1.1 on the left) than needed.

My idea is to replace both the wheel bearing and the knuckle since they are really close to each other. I just don't know if it would be better to get a wheel bearing and knuckle for the right rear, or get a whole right rear hub that includes the knuckle, bearing + the other stuff that goes there?

What would be my best option here? And what do you guys have for sale? I am just going to get the part and bring it to a mechanic friend of mine and have him do the job as I don't have any time to do it right now. It would be great if I could get something by the end of this week. Thanks.

I've a nuckle, but it may be for the left side.. it's all bead blasted and primered, then painted black.. let me check, I'd give it to ya for almost peanuts too. *if it's for the right rear...* :P

the parts needed for such an endeavor:

1. lateral link bolt *subaru 37 bucks* I replaced two of em
2. wheel bearing *easy to install, old one may take a bit of force to remove, just dont try to remove it with the retaining clip still there..*
3. it requires three seals... *yah, I know, but luckily they aren't too pricey, except I did both sides at once, to be sure the alignment didn't have to be redone*

heck, if you're not planning on keeping the car, go ahead with a nuckle pulled from a junker, but if you're going to love and pet your car and call it george and keep it for long as possible, do it the right way with new bearings, seals and lateral link bolt.

but if you need a hub and tone wheel... I've those for sure!

Wow, I haven't checked this thread in probably a couple of weeks. Blackbart said he had the whole assembly for the right rear (not sure of what it included as far as tone wheels and the like), but he said it was in good condition. I do remember him saying it had the knuckle, wheel bearing and hub. But he is unable to get to me right now but it's not a big deal right now as I am just riding my bike to school and not really driving much except the odd quick trip to the store. And I was also just going to get the hub/knuckle/wheel bearing and hand my car and the part(s) off to a mechanic friend of mine and have him do the work for me. So I will let you know if Blackbart doesn't get back to me here in the near future or I manage to find one on my own.

oh yeah, Frank is awesome! he's like the guru of oldschool subie parts.. I've more of a left-over build collection of parts.

I've a tone wheel or two and a hub, but you can never tell when a person needs a wheel stud or hub.. :P

yeah, he'll treat you right for sure.

mine is a left hand, sorry, but I DO have a tonewheel, hub assembly.. basically you'd need the knuckle and bearing with the three seals... getting em all in a whole unit would be nicer though, that way you're not having to press the bearing... I rebuilt mine and it's a pain.. :P

take er easy

Thanks Ken for you offers, and to anyone else who may have had something of use for me, but I purchased a hub/knuckle/wheel bearing assembly from blackbart so I no longer have any need for this thread.

Thanks Frank!!! :-D :D

I have front knuckles off a 80,000KM V4 STi "R" with free spinning wheel bearings ($50/each), but no spare rears available...
