VHT on stainless headers

Post by Bdub »

I just purchased a stainless header/uppipe. I've searched, but have come up empty handed.

I was curious if VHT on the stainless steel is a good idea? I'd rather not heat wrap it, but I'm thinking of other options to keep the pipes from becoming too hot.

VHT high temp paint won't really do much for ya. Not worth the waste of time.

Ceramic coating, Jet-Hot, etc. Pricey, but long lasting and effective.
