I was looking around and thought id try changing my pitch mount first and see how it makes the car feel off the line. What is usually compatible? Do you guys get the group n pitch mount ? or those aluminum ones on the bay. Suggestions would be great thanks,

I used the Group N plastic pitch mount on my 5-speed SS. That leads me to believe that any of them designed and sold for WRX or STI should work just fine.

Does this look like a good deal?

Also need to call them p and order some brake sliders, lower ball joints.

I think those are both the same pitch stop. Either should work. They look exactly the same as the on I currently use.

Awesome plan on ordering it, but did you feel any real difference?

I did it at the same time as a new clutch, group N trans mounts and group N motor mounts. So overall, yes a difference. But cannot comment on just a pitchstopper.

I probably need new motor mounts and tranny mounts more then a pitch mount. i need to call up Subaru parts and get the price of the tranny mounts.

Honestly....I doubt you will notice any difference. Take it out and see how things feel, you probably won't notice a difference.

Especially if you have the STi trans & engine mounts.

They say that the pitch mount for a 95 Impreza is the same as the STI piece. I checked my car and it looks identical.

The durometer of the bushings is what will be different. If you want to stiffen up your car get poly bushings. The Laile stuff is the best.

Group N parts are mildly better than stock, and 100X better than your 18 year old stock bushings, but still not very good.

Those are pretty cool

I haven't seen them before. I'm sure they're a pretty penny.

Here in Japan:
$150 for the engine mounts
$100 for the mission mount
$80 for the pitch stop mount

That transmission mount is an awesome design. I love the 2 piece design.

Hmm, the SS and TW pitch mount is metal, I have a hard time believing that a plastic piece (Group N) would be better. When I did my Group N trans and engine mounts I didn't do the pitch mount, seemed like a waste of money so I left it OEM.

If it's the bushing part that is better then I'm sure something could be rigged up for pennies on the OEM piece to accomplish the same thing......

It's called the hockey puck mod. Basically you cut the stock bushing out and then use the rubber from a puck to replace it with. Ghetto, but the puck rubber is better. Search on Nasioc or something and it'll show up.

Yeah, I kept the stock metal pitch mount.
