turbo silencer delete

can anyone explain what all this does (if anything), other than make it louder? can i also get some pics of what it is and possibly a short guide of how to get it off. and is it safe to do?

I guess (not scientificly proven) that it it gives a better flow since the the stock pipe has big enlargement that causes turbulence.

Theoretically, yes, it would give you more power because it's a straight through pipe. I'm glad I did the mod. It's worth just the sound IMO, but the chance that I'm getting more power/mileage is also nice.

My car's 0-60 times got quicker with this + a K&N drop in filter - from 9.70sec to 9.17 seconds timed on a G-Tech Pro.
G-Tech Power went from 102HP/107TQ stock to 109HP/117TQ with the K&N / Resonator delete....
Car is 4eat & was 100% stock otherwise with no CELs.

so the silencer delete is just adding that straight pipe in, replacing the old one that im guessing had some sort of "silencer" in it?

You will FEEL a smoother more responsive acceleration. A good exhaust will make this much more noticeable.

finally done with the coffe cup mod, as well as the rs scoop. Definately reccommend the coffee cup mod to any1 with an SS or TW
