Car has been sold, thank you.

Code: Select all

Hello LegacyCentral!

Due to an unfortunate mishap involving my wife and a guardrail, my '91 SS is beyond the point of repair. I'm posting this up hoping that someone will take the entire chassis off my hands. $800, Picked up in Sacramento, CA.

Mileage: 177,XXX mi.
Color: Pearl White
Engine: Idled a bit wonky, but pulled strong. Been daily driven for the last 30k miles.
Transmission (5MT): Shifted OK, reverse was a bit tough. Clutch was changed 30k ago and had no slipping problems.

Parts Removed: Horns, springs/struts, steering rack, front brakes, wheels and tires. I can assist with sourcing the replacement parts if necessary.

If you provide your own spring/struts, front brakes, steering rack, and Wheels/Tires, the car is drivable! The car was driven to work and back home after the accident.

Parts of note:
- Driver's side EDM glass headlight (passenger side was damaged)
- Full set of Canadian seatbelts, including all trim pieces, hardware, and black center console.
- Car has Ver. 7 STI front hubs, with no ABS sensors in the front
- JDM 4-spoke BC/BF steering wheel
- Corroded Kartboy battery tiedown

PM or email josh/a.t/kartjob/./net for additional details.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I INTEND TO SELL THE ENTIRE CAR. I WILL NOT PART OUT INDIVIDUALLY.

I saw this on craigslist and knew it was your car. Sucks to hear about the wreck.

I want your steering wheel, but im not paying $800 for it. Good luck with the sale.

What color is the interior trim?
Why were the front brakes removed?
Would there be any reason it couldn't be driven 600 miles assuming the missing parts were replaced?

Haven't heard back from you...

Either way so far I have tracked down a set of wheels/tires, front brakes and a rack. I am still trying to find suspension. I plan to use the parts from this car to swap into another Legacy.

BTW removing so many important parts from the car is making this hard!

Is anything still available? Why didn't you update the thread to indicate it was sold or reply to my email?
Your first post says "If you provide your own spring/struts, front brakes, steering rack, and Wheels/Tires, the car is drivable"

So I've been tracking down these parts....

Not sure what to tell you. Admittedly, I failed to update the thread when I was working with the buyer. I have no control over the parts that you procure on your own without coordinating with me. Sorry, it was purchased by a local.

Thanks for your interest, and I apologize for the confusion.
