And so far, I LOVE IT!

Wayyyy better build quality than my 2 yr old Dell Inspiron E1405... but it was also damn near double the price...

I got the Black one with:

250gb HD
2gb of RAM (soon to be 4gb ;) )
Core 2 Duo 2.4ghz
DL DVD Burner

And I got the iPod deal with it, I decided to up the iPod to the 32gb iPod Touch... quite the little deal...

So yeah, I'm excited lol... And now all I have to do is install Windooze and it'll be done, cuz, somethings, just arent quite available for OS X... And so far... I'm diggin OS X Leopard wayyy more than Vista...

I picked up a 24" iMac recently, cause I got a really, really, really good deal on it, and got in on the Touch promo also. Went for the 32GB version.

Will be getting a MacBook Air when they release the new version, which can't come soon enough.

Just got it out of the shop, again. My Applecare is running out at the end of this year, and thats gonna really suck my balls, and all the money from them.

No more Macs for me. :(

cool. let me know how bootcamp does on it. I am putting off getting one hopefully my laptop will last til the end of the year, but its definitely numbered on the life i will get from it, no power jack, have to charge on dock only, the regular power jack mia broke off. .
I can get an education discount on apple and they still have free ipods with purchse til the 15th....but i dont need or want a ipod..... so i have been waiting for a price break on the unit, plus my discount.....

I've been writing with an iBook G4 (Power PC) with Microsoft Office for 3 years now. Slow (I did get the cheapest model because I'm a cheap prick), but no problems and, best of all, NO VIRUSES or ADWARE shit despite no virus protection versus my old PC that was the fucking Bubble Boy of computers and the damn virus protection was a piss poor bubble. Also randomly and inexplicably lost drivers until all I had was a floppy drive. Had to transfer files by emailing them to myself one-at-a-time since I could only be online for about 3 mins. before I would get kicked off.

Can't say I'm a Mac fanboy as I still have my issues with a few annoying things, but I just hate Microsoft so much more. Kind of like political parties, I suppose.

bheinen... I'll let you know on Bootcamp

and nick... eek... it sure did

The only thing I'm not liking... is the lack of a second mouse button, i'm already getting used to double finger tapping for right click though...

and this iPod, is amazazing...

I run BootCamp on my iMac, and it's a better daming PC than my PC...

I have the three-year AppleCare for it, which would set a record for longest time I've ever owned a PC, ever, if I keep it for three years.

You should look into running Windows under Parallels instead of doing the boot camp thing. It's easier to set up, and will probably run the stuff you need Windows for.

If you want to run Windows faster IN OSX, get Fusion.

Otherwise, BootCamp is pretty easy.

Also, Fusion can run you BootCamp install while in OSX, if you choose to get it later.
