Hissing Sound from booster

I took my booster off today because i needed to pull my pedal box and look at it. Reasons of that have to do with the hydro clutch... but anyways, i put everything back together and now when i start my suby and push on the brakes all i hear is a hissing sound like the booster is leaking or something and ofcourse the car dies while the booster is loosing, so Did i ruin my booster?

it doesnt make sense to me because all i did was technically take the booster off and put it back on. I am certain i put everything back on correctly, so it's really getting under my skin because everything worked fine before hand.

Does your vehicle have cruise control?
My old Chevy pickup used to make a hiss when I'd press the brake and it wound up being a cracked vacuum switch housing on the cruise control system. The switch was up in the pedal box area and actuated when you pressed the brake to disengage the cruise control.
