I have a set of 4 that I would be willing to sell. They are in pretty decent shape, standard 15" 6 spoke SS wheels. I can pictures upon request.

The only item, and why I haven't spoken up before is shipping. I am willing to ship but being in Idaho, I wasn't sure if you wanted to pay for shipping all the way to MA.

But, if you are intersted and would like pictures, I am asking $150 for the set of 4. Note that does not include shipping costs.

sure, my options are open.
Considering you're in Idaho, the wheels won't be pitted and corroded like 18 year old aluminum wheels are around here, so I'll entertain the idea of shipping them if you could give me an idea of what it would cost to get them to me.

Thanks,
kurt

Kurt,

I won't lie, they aren't prestine but they are in pretty good shape. A couple dings, I did enjoy the dirt roads and they came from Virginia but they are not corroded.

I will borrow a digi cam tomorrow and get some pics up by Friday evening. I will also go ahead and get a shipping quote together. Do you have a specific zip code? I'm also assuming a residential address?

Thank you.

I've got a set of '93 ss wheels/tires and a set of '94 ss wheels/tires. Tires have good amount of tread left on them except that one tire in each set has to be replaced (one tire was slashed and the other tire is cupped from running on a blown strut).

But, like skid542, I wasn't sure if you wanted the extra shipping charges.

well, you can use zip 01742, and it's a business address it will be shipping to with daily FedEx if it helps.

PM or post prices here. I'm just sick of my steelies filling up with ice all winter and shaking me to death on my way to work.

thanks guys.

why don't you buy my VW wheels? 5x100 (35mm offset)
driver's edition wheels. 15". you'd probably get slaughtered by vw nuts. supposedly they are rare, and highly sought after. I really don't care. besides, it's a VW. my new roomate is really bent out of shape that I want to get rid of them. he just doesn't get it. I AM SUBARU!!! I will not change.

Are you set on 15" ? I have a set of '02 16" WRX rims/tires, w/ worn RE-92s, great for mounting a set of snows... The tires will be a bit pricier than 15's, but they'll handle better.

$350 shipped

Aerotech: Unfortunately, I am set on 15"s.
I just recently sold my extra set of WRX wheels to a co-worker, as a matter of fact... for $75. They didn't owe me anything, and he wanted them. Guess I could have gotten much more, eh?

Fact is, I'm only set on 15's because I have really good Pirelli Winter Carving snow tires that I need to get my money's worth from.

Thanks for the offer.

Kurt,

I didn't get the pictures last night. I'd forgotten that they still have a bunch of brake dust on them from when I pulled them off and never cleaned them. I will get them cleaned up over the weekend and pictures posted up Monday. I just didn't want to try to sell you a $150 set of rims that are covered in black brake dust and not be able to see any cosmetic flaws. I'm sure you know this, but if something good pops up before I get you the info for my wheels there is clearly nothing holding you from jumping on a good opportunity.

Shipping looks to be around $40-45. If it's anything more than that, I'll eat the extra cost.

Thanks,

Lee

Well it took me waaay longer to get these pictures posted up than I had intended. Not sure if you are still interested but below are the pictures.

A close up of each individual rim can be viewed here - http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s151 ... or%20Sale/

You can see that there is some oxidizing that has occured. I tried to get a picture of the worst wheel in regards to the oxidization. There is also a solid mar, I think it'd buff out. And there is one area where the paint is bubbling up. However, as you can see, the lips are in great shape and there isn't any curbage.

Let me know if these will work for you and we can forward from there. They are ready to be packaged up at this point and I'll offer $190 shipped.

Thanks,

Lee

Lee,
Thanks for the pictures. They look pretty good. As long as none of them are dented (which they don't look to be from my vantage point) I may be interested. I'm also interested in that header you've got there... lol

I may end up repainting, so the paint quality isn't as important to me as any heavy scars or bends there may be.

Kurt,

I'll try to get a few more pictures taken tonight and posted tomorrow. There are zero bends in the rims and only one spot on the lip that has been ground slightly. I will take close ups of all the spots I see has ding/scratch that is beyond the paint. There are only a couple but I'll try to get you a good view so you know what to expect.

The headers aren't for sale :). They've been waiting to go on my OBW for a while now but they will. You can actually get a set pretty cheap off E-Bay or similar. They are OBX EL headers, all S/S and comes with a flex pipe as well for right after the headers to the main exhaust. Pretty good quality for the price.

Let me know if you have any questions/concerns and I'll get some more pictures up tomorrow.

Thank you,

Lee

Kurt,

I tried several times to get a close up of what I consider the only real ding to the material. Unfortunately the camera's autofocus kept getting screwed up by the reflection of the rim so I couldn't get a picture.

Basically it's about 1/2" long and maybe 1/32" deep flat spot on the side of the lip. You can kinda see it here - http://s151.photobucket.com/albums/s151 ... G_5230.jpg , it's just above the valve stem going clockwise, maybe 3 inches past the stem. There is one other spot where there is a very slight 'cut' in the spoke. This cut is approximately 1/4" long and very shallow. You can feel it if you rub your finger over it but I'd imagine a little sandpaper would make real quick work of it and it's not too deep or wide that the paint won't fill in the valley.

Other than those, the rims are pretty clean outside of the paint peeling/oxidization that you can see in the pictures.

Let me know if you want any more information or if you really need me to get a picture of the two 'questionable' spots.

Thank you,

Lee

Is this something you are still interested in?

have rims w/ snows

I have a set of 4 Touring wagon 15" alloys with ~15yr old Nokia snows on them (bought the tires for my Scorpio a few years before I traded for the Subie back in '95). Plenty of tread but they are old. Also have 2 rims w/o tires with some gouges to lip but they hold air. The set of 4 has some areas of peeling & corrosion but for winter beaters they are fine (that's why I left the snows on them & used the WRX rims for good tires).

I'm willing to have have the snows removed & just sell the rims. Can talk price & post/email pics if you are interested. Would have to ship from NC to you which will add to your overall cost of course. Let me know.

supra90turbo: I tried to email you the pics a week ago. Your inbox is too small to accept them. I PM'd you & emailed you to inform you & asked if you had a gmail address. Zero response. WTF???? :?
