My T3/T4 uppipe build...

I am using a Borla NA header and will be boosting my NA daily driver soon. Don't worry, I have a built 2.5 going in eventually.
Anyway, here are some mock up photos.
Some issues that have arisen are A- I built it while using a NON-ABS vehicle for measurement. But the wagon its going into is ABS, so I need to move it a few inches. And B- there might be some axle issues. But probably not.
So I would finish it tonight, but the damn cold saw blade has gotten so small, I can't cut anything!

Very Cool. That looks like some long routing though. What's the length of pipe from the block to the turbo measure out to be (at it's shortest point)?
Oh, and don't forget to add a crank
Is it just me or did you sand down the intake manifold?

That's a long uppipe!
Did you mount the turbo that high for intercooler piping clearance over the intake manifold?

While long, this is the was the AVO turbokits are done for the NA stuff. With a shorter uppipe though. I have it that high so the intake is directly pointed out towards the stock air box.
Yeah, the intake manifold was polished by Byrdon a long time ago and was going in the scrap pile.

It's hard to say if you'll have up-pipe clearance issues. It looks to me as though your up-pipe is routed where a normal OE downpipe would go but since you're using a different turbo and therefore different downpipe you may get away with it for clearance.
Looks good and hopefully minor (if any) clearance modifications will be needed.

I'm thinking it looks like it'll bump up to the strut tower and/or firewall? The one I created for a newage WRX/STi (which has more room than these older Legacys) and it was a lot closer to the motor and intake manifold but still not a lot of room.
