.....and took a few shots of the car. It's finally in a state that I'm kinda proud of how it's looking.
Gonna post the big ones, hopefully nobody minds.
And this last one I like because I spent alot of time looking for BLACK 4pot/2pot calipers and only bought red when I couldn't find a nice set of blacks. I thought I wouldn't like the reds on a white car. Man I was wrong, they really pop out at you. And in a good way, not that 'Bling Bling' I was trying to avoid.

Very, very nice! Love it!
If you don't mind me asking what is fair market rate for the four/two pot set up like that? Also can you post or pm the link to the kartboy brackets? I can't find them on their site.
I need to cost this out and do in the coming year.
Cheers,
AW

Very nice! You know, calipers are not hard to paint.

Thanks!
I paid $800 shipped ($50-100 saved shipping costs). For that I got all 4 calipers (w/ all hardware and 50% pads) and all 4 rotors in usuable condition. I did have them resurfaced ($15*4) however.
The Kartboy brackets are hard to find on thier site. They are second to last on the droplinks page. I found a 'used but never installed' set over on Nasticoc. I paid $175 shipped.
KB-020Brake - FHI 2pot Rear Adapter ($ 225.00)

I got a package deal from Gruppe-S for the Hawk HPS pads, the SS lines, and the ATE fluid. $259.
Last year I found a slightly curbed set of '06 WRX wheels for $175. Tires last year were $280 for a set of "too embarassed to admit crap" 215/45R17. (A moment of weakness combined with low cashflow) Totally regret it and it will not happen again.
I think that sums up all my costs for the brakes. Of course the wheels and tires are indirect costs. I also *could* have used the pads and rotors as-is. For that matter, the ATE fluid and SS lines were not neccesities either.

Bought it that way. Truck tire in the road according to the previous owner. Hit hard enough to dent then oil pan and set off the airbag.
I've got it under control though.

Nice those fogs look awesome. Are they JDM? Is removing the bumper difficult btw?
