That is f*cking pathetic.
They would have gotten much better results if they had taken the car down to Tijuana. A lot of American shops can't seem to be bothered to do a good job these days.

WOW! He seriously trashed that car. Drywall screws EVERYWHERE! That was painful to see.

$250 quote, I don't care. There is never an excuse for that kind of work. I'd take that as a personal insult if a shop did that to me since that's more than shoddy work, that's a F-U to the customer. There's no way in hell a guy in the business doesn't know exactly how bad that shit is and he even lied about the work he was doing the whole time he had the vehicle. I don't think there is anybody that would give their car to someone, much less something somewhat valuable like a Z, and expect to accept that level of work no matter the cost. I don't even understand how it took them that long - that level of "quality" could be done in a day with most of that time spent f'n up the guy's door and waiting for the paint to dry. I could do a better job with hardware I have on hand and a couple rattle cans in my driveway in the wind. Drunk. While getting a blow job.
Glad it was at least done to one of the new bloats and not a real Z, but I feel for the guy.

How disgusting that so many willing and hardworking Americans are out of work and practically starving right now, and this fuckmonkey gets paid to do such unacceptable work.

I'll bet the dented door bottom was a result of being raised with a floor jack or a lift to clear the skirts.

Later in the thread someone posted a pic of that guy spraying a car without a mask. That right there tells you he probably shouldn't even perform an oil change.

He literally must have been drunk or high while "installing" that. No sober person would ever think that could pass muster. There is not one good angle - as there's not one good aspect.
Unbelievable. I scanned page thirty - and supposedly the body shop owner that's missing a chromosome or six is getting death threats. That's a weeeeeee bit overboard, yeah?

What do you expect when 270,000 people have viewed the thread and you live in California? Honestly, many car enthusiasts are not the brightest people around. They can be rash in their decisions.
