yesterday my old english sheepdog (about 85 pounds) jumped into the back bed of my Brat with the 4" lift kit and 27.5 inch tires. only problem is the tailgate was still in the up position. Needless to say, the tailgate has a few more dents and scratches where said dog got hung up with her back legs. She did make in in on her own, and i scolded her.
That is a pretty good height to jump...

haha! sometimes my miniature dachshund will try to jump in my car and ends up just pegging the side of the seat and falling down. I feel bad, but I laugh at the same time.

reminds me of yesterday, i was cleaning all the crap out of the bed of my new Brat. The previous owner just finished a new paint job on it, and didnt put the metal hardware back in the tailgate... the hinge portion that holds it when its open.
So i open the tailgate, and it drops... and hits the top of the bumper. Then I notice the missing hardware, lift the tailgate to find scratches and a dent from where it hit the bumper
My perfect tailgate is no longer perfect.

Not a BRAT, but I came from the same basic body-style GL wagon and sedan. Wanted an '84 coupe, but the only things around here that weren't rotted were hatchbacks since they were made for a few more years and I didn't like them or the EA82s, so I went with a Legacy.

Here's mine. I just picked it up a couple weeks ago. Have to put the interior back together, and install the bed chrome.
THe other day I cleaned out the bed.
Oh and the hubcaps are gone now too. I took them off to reveal some real poor looking Wagon Wheels. Good thing i have a complete set of Alloys ready to go on

What kind of alloys? I was going to see if you'd be interested in a set of rare OEM 8-spoke alloys. They're only 13's and I'd been saving them for the hope I'd find a hardtop someday, but that looks unlikely and I'd probably want to a larger size anyway.

The OEM 13's? I've only ever seen a picture of another set.

Yeah. Here is a picture of them in my garage. Alittle dusty, but ready for new tires. They are alloy, but have been polished to appear chrome.

No shit! Those are the same ones. Nice. They looked good on my sedan.
