Turbo Blow off question....

So I have been driving my 91 a little since my engine rebuild and I have noticed something bad.....Not every time, but a few times since the rebuild I'll go full throttle and when I hit about 3500-4000 RPM's it falls on it's face like it just lost all power. Is this a common problem? I did wrap the turbo (VF-11) and am now using stainless headers that are also wrapped and no cats. Part of the downpipe is wrapped too. Could it be possible that it's now creating too much boost and blowing off? What do I do about this?
Thanks

do you have a boost gauge, you will hit fuel cut at about 12.7 psi, or you could have a wastegate problem and it's opening for some reason, possibly a blow off valve leak.
first thing i would do is hook up a boost gauge

I will try that...I was wondering though, doesn't the computer have a limit on how much boost you can make? I know it's spooling almost instantly now because I wrapped it all up. I just didn't know if it was possible that it could go more than about 9 lbs. of boost without modifying something else. Thanks for the help.

I just recently put a BOV on my car and now it's real hesitant on boost
Before the BOV installation is was semi hesitant, but it got worse after i put the bov on.
could it be something inside the bov that is lose. I did get it from a friend used.
