Wow I'm jealous! Where was the car located? What a steal... $600. I've been looking for a solid 1st gen wagon as a second car around Portland

I got it in Beaverton from a young kid.
Maybe 19 or 20.
Wanted me to buy him beer. LOL
Being 36 and a father I just couldnt do it even though Ive had people do it for me when I was young.

Nice find!

But seriously, man up, put some Nokian snows on the Bug, it'll get you anywhere the wagon will. Looks like a '67... ?

Just put on your snowmobile suit first... :D I used to run my '65 up to Ski Apache in Ruidoso, NM, froze my ass off, but never got stuck.

Brother your preaching to the choir!
I lived in Bend for 14 years .
Rode professional snowboards for 9 and drove my 75 Super beetle everyday from bend to Mt bachelor for 5 years.
I drove it in EVERY snow condition and it charged.
Pizza cutter studded tires and coilover adjustables all the way around jacked up.
I was 1st in the parking lot many a time.

:-D
