I am pleased to report that last Friday My trusty 92 sedan made it from Spokane Washington USA to Portland Oregon USA in 4hours 28 mimutes. That is an average of 77mph including one stop for a pee and burger and a separate stop to fill up. I don't pay much attention to 1/4 mile times, to me, Subaru performance is measured in long distance high speed runs on a variety of poor road conditions. Boy I love my valentine One radar/laser detector and mu Uniden Beartracker mobile scanner. It's great to know exactly where those state troopers are in case I need one!

well if we want to start in on bragging.....I made it from Allentown, PA to Lake Stevens, WA (approx 25 mi north of Seattle) in 50 HOURS of driving time.....That doesn't include two stops of 5 hours of rest each night. My average speed for the time I was driving...not including the total 10 hours of sleep....was 65 mph....that includes all potty stops...eating...traffic...and anything else. While I was driving....average cruising speed was most likely 90 mph.
I've done this cross-country trip 3 times now....that was the fastest...goin east to west....average of the three trips was just over 2 1/2 days. I took I-80 to Chicago and went up to I-90, and ran that all the way across.
Oh.....and I got ZERO tickets during my trips.....I may have dodged a cop or two here or there.....hehe
