so this mourning i go to start the car. takes a few seconds for it to start up, then i put it in gear and start to back up, then go to first and move a little then the car just dies, so first thought " oops killed it" ( it was early haha) but i go to start it and it tries turning over but no start. wait a few seconds try again. then turned the ignition completely off then on the third try it slowly starts.
im thinkin bad alternator. but maybe it was just somethin wierd that happend, gonna see if it does it again.

The problem is probably in the battery, but why? Did the alternator kill it or is it just dead on it's own? First thing is to check your connections, but assuming you're driving the car every day and this is a new problem, that's less likely the issue.

Maybe it's a fuel pump? Sounds kinda like what my car was doing and it turned out to be a bad fuel pump. After a while the fuel pump quit working all together. Replaced it once I figured out there was no fuel coming through the lines and no pressure and then it ran great.
When I got the car you would start it and it would die right away. You'd have to give it gas to keep it going and then it ran alright when you were driving it. But I let it sit for a couple years and then finally got off my ass to sell it and it wouldn't start. That's when I figured out the fuel pump was the culprit and I hit the junkyard for like $25 and problem solved. But then the gas gauge didn't work anymore.
