I have 1994 Legacy GT. My sunroof will open but will not close.

If this is an emergency, open your center console and pull out the Allen-key wrench from the lid. Right above the rear seat, in the middle of the headliner is a round access port. stick the wrench up into the sunroof motor drive, and manually close the roof.

Did you try hitting the switch really hard and playing around with it? Maybe hit it a bit to. If that doesn't work aerotech's solution is your best bet until you look into a new switch i guess?

I used to reach back and pound on the roof, that usually jarred the relays into working again. The relays are in the control module, mounted right next to the motor. If you don't hear one click when you press the switch, try a smackdown. The switch rarely fails, it's usally a problem with the relay box.

If the relays are clicking, and no action, the sunroof might need lubed up.

It actually worked before it got jammed; I fixed the jam and reset the computer (as far as I know). May be there is a way to reset sunroof?

Unfortunately it is stripped.

There are ways around that but it is a major PITA.
