anyone got some old exhaust laying around, or a junkyard that doesn't hack off all the exhaust with a sawz-all and cut up the heatshields?

I've got a rusted heat shield on my 94 wagon, drivers side, that now rattles pretty good. anyone got one? i havent tried to remove it yet since it is so rusted I figured it'd just break clean off. just hope that the cat heat shield isnt rusted too bad also or will break when I try to get the header shield off.

anyone got some heat shield stuff around?

most of mine on my 92 is rusted off so I've been ripping the pieces of shit right off and leaving them off.

anyone? I'm probably going to try to swap the decent one from my 93, since i am rebuilding the motor now it shouldn't leak onto the header. the 94 has a small leak in the rear, surely from that POS plastic cover on the back of the pass. side block. One good thing about a leaky car like my 93, everything is not rusted and things have been easy to get off...

nevermind. the 94 is so rusted to the cat heat shield, I'm not even going to try to remove those bolts. I got the piece off but at the expense of having to drop the headers, in which all 6 of the studs came out instead of the nuts. fugg it I'll just run without the dumb heat shield. now should I do it right and replace the exhaust studs or just screw in the stud/nut combos that came out....
