That's not the main reason it won't work. The main reason it won't work is because the turbo radiator is taller then the non-turbo radiator and won't fit in the non-turbo cars.

ok so i guess the question is what radiator can i by that is aluminum and has a better cooling capacity

Koyo makes a radiator for the NA cars also... they're all over Ebay like a rash.

Is it any different, or just an oem replacement?
You can supposedly use a radiator from the 96 legacy GT or something like that. It's the same size, but two rows instead of one. There's a thread in this forum about it. Search for it, and there will be more specifics.

Looks like the NA radiators from Koyo are all OEM-style, w/ plastic tanks & AL core. Only the Turbo rads are all-aluminum...
