Didn't get the day off from work, but I did manage to sleep in a bit this morning. No huge plans for the evening, but I'll likely hit up a bar for a few drinks with some good friends.

My gift to myself today is to hit the 1,500 posts goal. I figured I'd go for something achievable.

Crappy thing is I left work early only to come home with an upset stomach which was bothering me all day. I got home and that's all she wrote for the rest of the evening...

I couldn't keep anything down and it ultimately sucks! Taking today off as well to recover from the whole ordeal.

My wife agrees that I get a birthday do-over this weekend.
